Kilpatrick & Co is pleased to announce that artist Kareen Jackson who exhibited her work in Hughenden Yard back in 2016 will be returning to Hughenden Yard this summer/autumn to display some of her collections in Unit 13, Hughenden Yard. Kareen always carries a rucksack when walking because of her obsession with beachcombing while on adventures around the UK and Europe. When back in her studio she transforms her beach junk into unique hand crafted driftwood boats, cottages and animals. Each piece has a story of where it came from, how it was collected and then created. Kareen currently sells her pieces around the world. She also takes on commissions and creates houses, pubs or shops out of wood in her own unique style. Daniel Pitt of Kilpatrick & Co said “We are delighted to have Kereen returning to Hughenden Yard to display some of her unique and charming pieces. The window displays proved to be very popular back in 2016 and generated interest both in Kareen’s work and the other trading businesses in Hughenden Yard. Kilpatrick & Co and the landlords are most keen to support and help local artisans and crafters and having their work displayed in Hughenden Yard when a shop is available is of benefit, both to the artists and the other retailers of Hughenden Yard.” Kareen Jackson will have a window display in Unit 13 Hughenden Yard, opposite W.H.Smith’s rear entrance, next door to Goldsworthy’s and UK Physiotherapy.
